We boast of a coal reserve of 525 mn tonnes out of which a paltry 17.90 mn tonnes have been extracted so far. We need concerted effort to scale this up.
Today we had a constructive discussion with officials of Coal India at NEC Margherita. We decided that there is merit in immediately starting Tirap colliery & Tirap Open Cast Project. This has potential to produce 0.7 mn tonnes coal per year.
We shall work expeditiously to resolve all issues pertaining to Environment and Forest and Land Revenue Dept.
I am also taking it up with Environment Ministry and Coal Ministry to resolve all pending clearances. A meeting is slated next month in New Delhi to discuss these issues.
Sri Rameswar Teli, MoS in Ministry of Food Processing; Sri Atul Bora, Min of Agriculture; Sri Sanjoy Kishan, Min of Tea Tribes Welfare Dept; Sri Bhaskar Sharma, MLA, Margherita and senior officers of concerned departments were present in the meeting.

Just examine, what do you doubt? You always doubt in something good–whether it is in you or in someone else. In order to trust, you must first understand your doubt. You doubt yourself, and you doubt people around you. And then you doubt in the existence of God:
