Glad to witness history being created when MV Lal Bahadur Shastri, a cargo vessel carrying 200 MT of foodgrains from Patna arrived at Pandu Port, Guwahati traversing 2,350 km through the Indo-Bangladesh Protocol route.

This is an important milestone in the region’s connectivity.

I am grateful to Union Minister of Shipping Shri Sarbananda Sonowal dangoriya for his efforts to improve waterways in the North East under the guidance of Adarniya PM Shri Narendra Modi ji.

Guwahati MP Smt Queen Oja was also present on the occasion.
