As Gujarat CM, he recommended making MSP a statutory right, but now it seems NDA govt is cozying up to pvt players.

Akali Dal wants written assurance by Centre on procurement of grains at MSP & a legislation making this a statutory law.

We want constitutional guarantees banning trade in food grains below MSP.
