I salute the ‘lok lehar’ of farmers which has swept away all obstacles put in its way by the Haryana govt & the centre to ensure the voice of the ‘annadaata’ is finally heard in Delhi.

PM Narendra Modi ji should now invite farmers for talks immediately & resolve their grievances.

Central govt should show proof of intent to assuage the hurt sentiments of lakhs of farmers who have been brutalized by the inhuman conduct of the Haryana govt & announce that it is ready to bring in new legislation to correct the inherent flaws in the 3 agri marketing acts.

MSP has to be made a legal right of farmers. There can be no compromise on this.

This should be the agenda of talks with farmers to ensure they are fruitful & not merely time consuming exercises to tire off farmer orgs. Assured govt purchase on MSP should also be guaranteed.

Above all the centre should admit that the fundamental right of protest can’t be taken away from citizens & haul up the Haryana govt for repressing a peaceful movement by use of water cannons & tear gas shells. Farmers falling victim to this brutality should be duly compensated.
