Women have always played a key role in bringing revolutionary changes in society. Hence BMC & C40 Cities are coming together for an international mentorship program, ‘Women 4 Climate’, to bring women leaders to be at the forefront of climate change action.

As BMC focuses on making more urban forest thickets, we must ensure that we involve our citizens in planting trees native to Mumbai and cool the neighbourhoods. For this, we are partnering with Mirchi Mumbai to amplify our efforts Cities4Forest & Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan.

The BEST has 386 EV buses currently and we are looking at 1900 EV buses & 200 double-decker buses, converting 50% fleet to electric by 2023 & 100% by 2028.

WRI Cities India & GiZ will optimize a smooth transition for the consumer and last-mile connectivity for BEST.
