I am embarking on a 10-day tour covering 2500 km to visit key irrigation projects across Andhra Pradesh – N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh:

I am embarking on a 10-day tour covering 2500 km to visit key irrigation projects across Andhra Pradesh and interact with the affected people of my state.

The people of Andhra Pradesh are deeply dissatisfied with the current regime’s handling of irrigation issues, leading to severe water scarcity in the state.

Under YS Jagan’s leadership, irrigation has come to a halt, causing significant losses for farmers and industries.

The state is parched, and the people are struggling for water. The lack of vision and experience in managing the state is evident in YS Jagan’s approach.

In contrast, the TDP’s interlinking of rivers showed promising potential to resolve the water crisis. The people deserve a leader who can make practical decisions for a water-secure future.

TDP will pave the way for a prosperous and water-secure future for our state.

I wish for the New Parliament building to become the abode for transformational policy and decision-making… : N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh:

As we have a new Parliament building, I join a joyous and proud nation in congratulating PM Narendra Modi Ji, the Union Govt, and every hand that has contributed to building this historic structure.

I wish for the New Parliament building to become the abode for transformational policy and decision-making.

The dream of a poverty-free India where the gap between haves and have-nots has been bridged will be achieved by 2047, on completion of 100 years of independence.

Seven years ago on this day, the foundation stone of the peoples capital Amaravati was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi: N Chandrababu Naidu

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh:

Seven years ago on this day, the foundation stone of the people’s capital Amaravati was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

We all wished that Amaravati city would stand as the heartbeat of the Telugu nation for at least a thousand years.

Everything was ruined because of the ideas of the present day rulers.

Amaravati means the sacrifice of 28 thousand farmers and the determination of crores of people.

Andhras across regions considered Amaravati as their pride.

The man who welcomed Amaravati before the election…changed his word and cheated when he came to power.

YCP’s machinations will not work with the Amaravati Farmers’ Maha Padayatra.

Amaravate is the capital of Andhras… The wish of 5 crore Andhras will be fulfilled. Amaravate with truth, justice, sacrifice and determination will win…

Glad to see CPIO/Director from the Home Ministry correct the erroneous RTI reply stating that Andhra Pradesh has 3 Capitals instead of only Amaravati: N Chandrababu Naidu

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh:

Glad to see CPIO/ Director (CS-II) from the Home Ministry correct the erroneous RTI reply stating that Andhra Pradesh has 3 Capitals instead of only Amaravati.

It is evident that the official has been misguided and manipulated by the AP Govt.

I commend Dr. GVR Shastri Garu for taking up the issue with the concerned officials and successfully correcting the mistake.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of a thriving scientific ecosystem: N Chandrababu Naidu

I thank Narendra Modi Ji for his visit to the Genome Valley.

It will go a long way in boosting Bharat Biotech’s pursuit of ‘Covaxin’ being developed in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of a thriving scientific ecosystem.

We owe a profound debt of gratitude to all the scientists, officials and stake-holders who have shaped up Genome Valley.

Incidents of attack on their faith have repeatedly hurt the sentiments of the devotees: Chandrababu Naidu

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh:

Andhra Pradesh has been a progressive, pluralistic State where all faiths have thrived & co-existed peacefully.

However, under the tyrannical YSRCP regime, people of AP are now fearful of a continuous state-sponsored attack on their faiths. More than 20 such attacks have occurred

From charring of sacred chariots at Antarvedi & Bitragunta to idols being demolished at Pithapuram, from attacks on priests like Devarampadu incident to propagation of other religions under TTD management & illegal takeover of Simhachalam temple board – there seems to be a pattern.

These incidents have repeatedly hurt the sentiments of the devotees while an egoistic YSRCP Govt, driven by its lack of regard for the sanctity of temples, looked the other way.

We condemn, in the strongest possible terms, and demand a CBI inquiry into all these incidents.

AP has witnessed a sharp escalation in violence against Dalits in the last 15 months: N Chandrababu Naidu

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh

Attacks on dalits are continuing unabated.

Macha Dhanalakshmi’s house in Mudinepalli, Kaikaluru, was burnt down by members of the YSRCP party because she complained to the police against them.

Family members were able to save their lives by a whisker

Unfortunately, all their belongings were reduced to ashes.

AP has witnessed a sharp escalation in violence against Dalits in the last 15 months.

The govt is failing its people, and attacks only seem to continue because of unrestrained arrogance of ruling party members

Policemen knocked on the door of journalist Siva Prasad for questioning the AP Govt.. : N Chandrababu Naidu

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh:

  • Policemen knocked on the door of journalist Siva Prasad for questioning the AP Govt & kidnapped him in front of his family in Hyderabad.

  • They have flouted the law that protects an individual’s human rights.

  • I strongly condemn this incident which threatens the freedom of the Press.

Flattening the COVID-19 curve should be a priority. There would be enough time for politics later : N Chandrababu Naidu

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh:

Flattening the COVID-19 curve should be a priority. There would be enough time for politics later

Real decentralized development, a reality of the past, is now a false propaganda.

Our cities have fallen in cleanliness rankings & the state reels under COVID-19. The only thing YS Jagan has decentralized so far is the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

I urge the Chief Minister to stop hiding his failures behind a curtain of lies, and to focus on effective measures to control the unchecked spread of COVID-19 in Andhra Pradesh.

Tomorrow will mark the completion of 200 Days Of Amaravati Protests. Telugu Desam will march shoulder to shoulder with the protesting farmers until Amaravati is reinstated as the only Capital of Andhra Pradesh: NCBN

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh:

  • History is proof that no country or state has ever prospered by dividing regions or people. Amaravati is an idea that was born out of the pangs of unjust bifurcation. It was envisioned to unite Telugus and be the building block of a powerful AP
  • We only had our will, our manpower and the intellectual capital of our people, and we worked hard to build a self-financing Capital that generated jobs for the residents and strengthened economy with generous tax contributions owing to economic activity.
  • Farmers came up voluntarily to contribute their hard-earned 33,000 acres of land as part of pooling – lauded by many as a one-of-its-kind initiative in the Country. The 3-Capitals idea is flawed and seemed entrenched in the whim of YS Jagan.
  • With the outbreak of #Coronavirus, the move will only seem inappropriate and ill-timed considering the plunging industrial and agricultural output, rapidly rising unemployment, and failing healthcare systems. Tomorrow will mark the completion of 200 Days Of Amaravati Protests.
  • I salute the indomitable spirit of thousands of farmers who have chosen the path of protest to not let the authoritarian Government put the future of the State at risk.
  • The fight will continue and Telugu Desam will march shoulder to shoulder with the protesting farmers until Amaravati is reinstated as the only Capital just as YS Jagan promised in the assembly when in Opposition.

TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu participates in a torch protest

via @ncbn:

  • TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu participated in a torch protest from his residence in Amaravati, against the arrests made by YS Jagan’s Govt.
  • About the protest Mr Naidu said:
  • These actions are result of non cooperation between forces of darkness and those of light.
  • Darkness exists only in the absence of light and
  • it’s only a matter of time when the light of truth will drive out darkness of lies.

‘Scaling the wall of the home of a MLA & former minister like he was a terrorist’

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former CM, Andhra Pradesh:

  • Scaling the wall of the home of a MLA & former minister like he was a terrorist.
  • Barging into the inner rooms without a knock / notice.
  • Threatening family members when they requested for medicines to be taken along.
  • One day, we will come back to power.

‘He could have been taken into custody without..’

N Chandrababu Naidu – Former Andhra Pradesh CM:

  • The doctor who asked for an N-95 mask is not a thief.
  • All the harassment has led to this.
  • He could have been taken into custody without using lathi and tying his hands with a rope.
  • Being treated like an animal is nothing but vengeance
