Can central govt “direct” any EC to delay/cancel any elections? .. : Arvind Kejriwal – AAP, National Convenor

Arvind Kejriwal, AAP National Convenor, on Delhi’s State Election Commission deferring announcement of the schedule for MCD elections:

Can central govt “direct” any EC to delay/cancel any elections?

Under which provision?

Are these “directions” binding on EC?

Why is EC buckling under pressure? …

Manish Sisodia – Dy CM, Delhi:

Fearing defeat in MCD, the BJP postponed the elections through the State Election Commission.

People are unhappy with 15 years of corruption in MCD, fearing this, BJP is running away from elections.

Our young entrepreneurs amazed the investors and audience with their products and out of the box thinking: Manish Sisodia on young entrepreneurs from Delhi Govt Schools

Manish Sisodia – Dy CM, Delhi:

Over 100 business ideas from Delhi Government school students were presented to investors today at an investment summit organised by Arvind Kejriwal Govt.

These are India’s future entrepreneurs and leaders in making.

With their unique & brilliant ideas, our young entrepreneurs from Delhi Govt Schools drew the attention of investors.

As an Education Minister, it was an overwhelming & proud moment for me to see these kids demonstrate their entrepreneurial skills on such a large stage.

Whether it was homemade candles, LED bulbs, customised T-shirts, paintings, or a mobility transformer for specially abled people, our young entrepreneurs amazed the investors and audience with their products and out of the box thinking.

Impressed by the entrepreneurial skills of Delhi Govt School students, Rajan Anandan, MD of Sequoia Capital stated, “Business Blasters & EMC is the answer to the question of “how do we create 100 million jobs in India?”

Dr Ritesh Malik, Founder of Innov8, was also fascinated by the brilliance of our young Business Blasters.

Watch the video below to know what Dr. Ritesh has to say about the Business Blasters program.

I’d like to thank all of the investors who believed in our students and aided their ideas and supported their dreams.

And I’d like to congratulate the entire Business Blasters Team for putting on such a successful and unique summit.
