I was honoured at the turnout to listen to me.
My audience included four bishops plus the head of the Mar Thoma Church, Theodosius MarThoma Metropolita, who also greeted me on arrival.

It was an incredible experience to have such a large audience listening in rapt attention for nearly an hour.
I’ve addressed the Convention before, in 2014, but much more briefly, & this was the largest audience the Bishops said they’ve seen

After severe COVID set back in economic growth for two years Kerala economy is back on growth track.
GSDP growth rate for 2021-22 is 12.01% compared to national 8.7%.
The performance is the outcome of additional capital expenditure through KIIFB and massive NH land acquisition.

From ₹9,753 Cr in 2016 to ₹17,536 Cr in 2022, Kerala’s IT Parks have almost doubled their exports. Additionally, the number of companies has increased from 640 to 1106, & IT employees from 78,068 to 1,35,288.
This reflects LDF Government’s committed efforts to uplift IT sector.

Kerala along with Maharashtra and Punjab tops the Union Education Ministry’s Performance Grading Index for 2020-21 with 928 points.
Our grade has improved from 826 in 2018-19 and 901 in 2019-20 as a result of the LDF govt’s efforts in upgrading our education sector to world-class level.

To promote innovation and entrepreneurship in Kerala the LDF Government will reimburse Startups and students their expenses for obtaining patents.
