I have celebrated many birthdays, but yesterday was very emotional : PM Narendra Modi

PM Narendra Modi interacts & congratulate the healthcare workers & beneficiaries in Goa on administering 100 percent of the first COVID-19 vaccination dose :

The largest vaccination doses administered on 17th September with over 2.5 crore vaccinations by the Indian healthcare workers is worth admiring & shows our dedication to fight against this pandemic.

One of the key pillars in driving this Largest Vaccine Drive is the ongoing logistical support running parallelly across the states to ensure timely delivery of the vaccinations.

Goa is a state that beautifully captures the diversity of our country. It is a state that strengthens the spirit of Ek BharatShreshthaBharat. Their achievement of administering 100% of the 1st vaccination dose is a moment of pride for all of us.

In the last few months, Goa has bravely fought natural calamities like heavy rains, cyclones & floods. I congratulate all corona warriors, health workers & Team Goa for maintaining the pace of vaccination amidst these challenges.

Largest Vaccine Drive and the landmark figure of COVID-19 vaccination doses administered on 17th September reflects the potential of India on combatting this pandemic together; nationally & globally.

I have celebrated many birthdays, but yesterday was very emotional. Yesterday, for Vaccine Seva, we made the record of administering 2.5 crore doses. We administered 15 lakh doses every hour, 26,000 doses every minute. This is a matter of pride for all of us.

A deliberate attempt by Nabanna to curtail the no. of applicants of the Krishak Bandhu scheme: Suvendu Adhikari

Suvendu Adhikari – Leader of Opposition, West Bengal:

The portal, related to land records documents, has been malfunctioning off late in a deliberate attempt by Nabanna to curtail the no. of applicants of the Krishak Bandhu scheme in Duare Sarkar camp.

This indicates that the West Bengal Govt is heading towards insolvency.

So dirty tricks are in play to sabotage people in order to save face & reduce the stress on the state exchequer that has emptied due to increased expenses & paltry revenues for a decade.

Would Chief Secretary West Bengal & Land Reforms Sec. Ms. Smaraki Mahapatra be sincere enough to corroborate?

Violence has no place in democracy: Suvendu Adhikari

Suvendu Adhikari – Leader of Opposition, West Bengal Assembly:

WB rulers made Bengal a laboratory of political violence.

Today’s historical judgment by 5 Member Bench of Calcutta High Court indicts them for failing to protect human rights.

Hence it is proved that Judiciary is the most formidable pillar of Constitution & Democracy.

Violence has no place in democracy. Today we stand vindicated by the Calcutta High Court.

I thank Mahesh Jethmalani and entire team for fighting this cause and ensuring that people don’t lose faith in Democracy.

AAP is free to create hype for their political benefits but to come to Goa and insult our leaders is unacceptable: Dr Pramod Sawant

Dr Pramod Sawant – CM, Goa:

AAP has always indulged in cheap politics through constant protests & theatrics.

But to say Goans are third class politicians, is an insult to great sons-of-the-soil like Bhausaheb Bandodkar, Jack Sequeira, Manohar Bhai Parrikar, Rajendra Arlekar or Shripad Bhau Naik.

AAP is free to create hype for their political benefits but to come to Goa and insult our leaders is unacceptable.

  • I am privileged to be a loyal worker of BJP.

  • It is my utmost honour to serve the party with Highest Standards of Ethics & Behaviour.

  • I urge everyone to act in accordance with party ethics & not indulge in protests/indiscipline that is disrespectful & embarrassing for party.

Why repeat the same mistake? : Subramanian Swamy

Dr Subramanian Swamy – MP, Former Union Minister:

  • It was Yediyurappa who first brought BJP to power in Karnataka.

  • Some conspired to remove him since he would not be a chamcha.

  • Without Him BJP could not return power in the State.

  • Only upon his return to BJP could the party win again.

  • Why repeat the same mistake?

People were denied treatment, ration and protection for making a political choice: Amit Malviya

Amit Malviya – National In-charge of BJP’s IT Dept.:

Calcutta HC’s five judge bench order on the post-poll violence in West Bengal, based on the interim report submitted by NHRC, is a stinging indictment of Mamata Banerjee government’s complicity.

People were denied treatment, ration and protection for making a political choice.

There are several damaging observations made by the Calcutta High Court based on the interim report submitted by the NHRC.

The most scathing and perhaps inhuman is the mention of sexual violence including those involving minor girls.

CM Mamata Banerjee hasn’t said a word on it.
