• While the poor in India are starving amidst the Corona Virus Crisis, the Government of India has decided to use the Buffer Stock of Rice at FCI godowns for manufacturing sanitizers.
• We first need to help our daily wage workers, migrant laborers and everyone who is affected due to the Corona Virus, and ensure they get their daily meals and shelter, and then address the issue of increasing sanitizer production.
• Requesting @PMOIndia to rethink this decision and distribute the grains from the buffer stock to the poor instead of using them to manufacture sanitizers.
