Shiromani Akali Dal is contesting Sangrur Lok Sabha by-poll on the sole agenda of securing the release of Sikh detenues (Bandi Singhs) in league with all panthic organisations and if the Centre acceded to this demand we are ready to withdraw from the fray even at this stage.

We chose to focus on the inhuman treatment being meted out to Bandi Singhs by fielding Kamaldeep Kaur Rajoana, a member from Bandi Singh families.

We hope Punjabis will vote affirmatively to secure the release of all Bandi Singhs & end their suffering.

People are angry with CM Bhagwant Mann for betraying their trust. He made a mockery of the CM chair by hanging from Arvind Kejriwal’s car.

Bhagwant is on Kejriwal’s payroll. Punjabis can never accept a CM who is playing second fiddle to someone who is not even a full-fledged CM.
