Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray inaugurated a 800 bed jumbo COVID facility in the presence of Deputy CM Ajit Pawar in Pune today.

Equipped with 200 ICU beds, oxygenated beds, negative pressure provisions, this facility will prove crucial for curtailing COVID infection rates.

Till a vaccine becomes available, increasing number of tests, health facilities and reducing costs of treatment while ensuring social distancing, washing hands and wearing of masks continue to be the best defence against the virus, reiterated the Chief Minister.
