PM Narendra Modi launches various development projects in Himachal Pradesh; also inaugurates and lays the foundation stone of hydropower projects worth over Rs 11,000 crores :

Today as the country celebrates Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Himachal is celebrating its Golden Jubilee of Statehood Day.

Every country has different ideologies, but today the people of our country are clearly seeing two ideologies. One ideology is of delay and the other of development. Those with the ideology of delay never cared about the people living on the hills.

Our commitment is only for development. We got the work of the Atal Tunnel completed and also widened the road connecting Chandigarh to Manali and Shimla.

‘Beta, Beti, Ek Samaan’ Today, our government is working towards equal rights to our daughters.

India is called the pharmacy of the world today and Himachal has a huge power behind it. Himachal Pradesh has helped not only other states but also other countries during the COVID-19 global pandemic.

In Himachal, our government is focusing on food processing industry, farming & pharma. We are:
1. Developing mega food park & strengthening cold storage infra
2. Promoting Natural Farming
3. Encouraging AYUSH Industry

India had set a target in 2016 to meet 40% of its installed electricity capacity from non-fossil energy sources by 2030. Today every Indian will be proud that India has achieved this goal in November this year itself.

From solar power to hydropower, our nation is continuously working towards fulfilling the power demand while protecting nature.

The inauguration of hydropower projects will not only help in utilizing the untapped hydropower potential of the region but also provide numerous job opportunities.

We have left no stone unturned to change the life of people of Himachal Pradesh. The people of Himachal have not only religiously fought COVID19, but also successfully maintained the speed of development.
