PM Modi’s address in Central Hall of Parliament on Constitution Day :
Today is the day to pay our tribute to the main architects of the Indian Constitution like Dr. Rajendra Prasad & Dr. BR Ambedkar.
While we are commemorating ‘Samvidhan Divas’ today, we must not forget the brave hearts who countered the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks & the ones who lost their lives.
We also bow to all those who made sacrifices in the freedom movement.
Our duty as citizens is to protect the rich values that the Indian Constitution has charted for us & introspect its significance in our lives every year.
We should celebrate Samvidhan Divas every year, to inspire our coming generations and answer their questions.
Our Constitution is not just a collection of many clauses, our Constitution is the great tradition of millennia.
We must value the worth of Indian Constitution in building ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’ & the immense contribution of Dr. BR Ambedkar has made in directing Indian policymakers towards unity & diversity.
Indian Constitution empowers us towards growth & enriches us with it’s core values of integrity and justice.
As we are celebrating 75 years of India’s freedom, we should take inspiration from our Constitution that guides us in protecting the rights of our citizens like respecting women, practice equality, discourage corruption & become a better citizen
