• Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray chaired a review meeting to assess preventive measures taken by Thane Municipal Corporation to curtail the spread of Coronavirus. Minister Eknath Shinde, Minister Dr Jitendra Awhad & Minister Aaditya Thackeray were present for the same.
  
  
• He directed authorities to set up ‘Dakshata Samitis’ in all wards and continue social awareness drives.
  
  
• Marking containment zones, contact tracing, wearing masks, washing hands & following rules continue to be the best measures to combat the pandemic, asserted the CM.
