Dr Ashwathnarayan – Dy CM, Karnataka:

Inaugurated the new office of Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (@karnatakadem), at Deshpande Foundation, Hubballi.

It has the potential to be the digital hub in Hubballi-Dharwad zone.

We will organise pre-event of Bengaluru TechSummit 2021, here in September/ October.

KDEM aims to increase digital economy contribution to 30% of SGDP.

It will attract investments & create 10 lakh jobs by 2025.

To strengthen digital economy, Govt will focus on improving connectivity, providing 24/7 electricity, & reducing rural-urban divide by establishing required infrastructure in rural areas.
