It is a great honour for Chennai to host a marquee event like Chess Olympiad for the first time in India.

A delegation from TN has met our Prime Minister Thiru Narendra Modi on my behalf and invited him formally to inaugurate Chess Chennai 2022.

Representatives of Tamil Nadu Government will be inviting the Chief Ministers of all the states of our Union to take part in this momentous moment and we look forward to their presence.
