• Huge loss of informal jobs over the last 3 months will severely impact our economic bounce back.
• We need a financial stimulus package to support this informal sector.
• Govt must announce a large stimulus package for all sectors. It ought to have been finalised by now.
• Any further delay will only impact economic recovery. Both informal and formal jobs need to be protected.
• Informal labour forms 80% of our workforce whereas formal labour forms only 20% – time has come to protect our informal labour with insurance and better equity
