As expected, the government/RBI have withdrawn the Rs 2000 note and given time until September 30 to exchange the notes

The Rs 2000 note is hardly a popular medium of exchange. We said this in November 2016 and we have been proved correct

The Rs 2000 note was a band-aid to cover up the foolish decision of demonetising Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes which were popular and widely exchanged currencies

A few weeks after Demonetisation, the government/RBI were forced to re-introduce the Rs 500 note

I shall not be surprised if the government/RBI re-introduced the Rs 1000 note as well

Demonetisation has come full circle!

Telangana IT and Industries Minister KTR had a meeting with ‘Lockheed Martin Corporation’ senior leaders; Ray Piselli, VP international business and Global Business Development and Dave Sutton, Director for International Government Affairs on ongoing manufacturing programmes in Hyderabad and new programmes in pipeline.

During the meeting, held in Washington DC, the Lockheed Martin leaders appreciated the unmatched support received from Telangana Government during the pandemic days and assured support for the various skilling initiatives undertaken by the State including the plan to establish a world class Aerospace university proposed in partnership with leading OEMS.

The Lockheed Martin Corporation is an American aerospace, arms, defense, information security, and technology corporation.

“Glad to note that Lockheed is planning their next supply chain meet in Hyderabad and is actively speaking to several Telangana based MSMEs and start- ups for fruitful collaborations”: Minister KTR.

Despite not being given even a day’s prior notice, I will still abide by the summon.

I will give my full cooperation during the course of the investigation.

As for my Jono Sanjog Yatra, it will resume again on 22nd May’23 from the same location in Bankura where I stop today.

Unfazed by these events, I shall strive to serve the people of West Bengal with even greater dedication, zeal and commitment.

Historic step making aviation fuel from ethanol taking Farm to Flight!

India takes a positive step towards a green & sustainable future under visionary leadership of PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji.

Proud to launch India’s first domestic commercial flight on indigenous feedstock & SAF!

While today we made a modest beginning with one percent Sustainable Aviation Fuel in one flight as a demonstration. We will first work towards one percent blending in all flights in near future & then take the percentage of blending even higher.

To meet the target of one percent SAF blending in ATF, India would require around 14 crore litre of SAF/annum. More ambitiously, if we target for 5% SAF blend, around 70 crore litre of SAF/ annum will be required.

Unlike traditional jet fuels, SAF is produced from renewable sources such as agricultural waste, municipal solid waste, & forestry residues. This means that SAF has the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional jet fuel.

Production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel using sugarcane molasses as indigenous feedstock and technology in India is a major step towards self-reliance & de-carbonization of aviation sector in line with India’s commitment for achieving Net Zero by 2070.
