In a first of its kind initiative and true to the vision of our PM Shri Narendra Modi avl, Kashi Tamil Sanghamam got off to a glorious start.
In the presence of Tamil Saivite Adheenams, Tamil Cultural icons including Shri Ilaiyaraaja avl, 216 students who have come from Tamil Nadu & in front of thousands of people from Varanasi, Our PM spoke eloquently on what makes us Bharatiyas and rekindled the spirit of our ‘oneness’.
In his rousing speech he mentioned about his special bonding with Tamil language Our PM Shr Narendra Modi avl once again reiterated the greatness of Tamil language and said, ‘Tamil Language is the oldest in the world’.
From Parakrama Pandiyan to Kumaragurubarar to Mahakavi, he traced the civilisational links between TN & Kashi.
This program will go on till the 16th of December – the whole of Tamil Karthigai month and the whole of Varanasi is decked up to receive our Tamil brothers & sisters and rediscover our strong civilisational bonds.
