1700 Punjab Police personnel sacrificed their lives to bring the state out of the dark days and now they are being mocked by INC Punjab leaders: Capt Amarinder Singh – Fmr CM, Punjab
Sad to see our men in uniform being disrespected.
1700 Punjab Police personnel sacrificed their lives to bring the state out of the dark days and now they are being mocked by INC Punjab leaders & above all their President. Shameful!
A leader must give respect to earn respect.
On the other hand Punjab Police officials are being transferred every day at the whims & fancies of INC Punjab leaders.
The HM should know, it not only breaks the morale of the force but it’s also a clear signal that Congress leaders have no confidence in our men in uniform.
At the Indian Military Academy there is a famous quote by the former C-in-C FM Sir Philip Chetwode in 1932 “The welfare and security of the men you command come next, your own ease and comfort come last always and every time.”
The Punjab govt should try and understand this.

In order to substitute India’s import of petroleum as a fuel we have now advised the Automobile Manufacturers to start manufacturing Flex Fuel Vehicles : Nitin Gadkari
Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport & Highways :
In order to substitute India’s import of petroleum as a fuel and to provide direct benefits to our farmers, we have now advised the Automobile Manufacturers in India to start manufacturing Flex Fuel Vehicles (FFV) and Flex Fuel Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicles (FFV-SHEV) complying with BS-6 Norms in a time bound manner within a period of six months.
In line with Hon. Prime Minister’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and government’s policy on promoting ethanol as a transport fuel Flex Fuel Vehicles are capable to run on a combination of 100% Petrol or 100% bio-ethanol and their blends, along with strong Hybrid Electric technology in case of FFV-SHEVs.
This move will drastically reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions from vehicles on a Well-to-Wheel basis, helping India to comply with its commitment made at COP26 to reduce the total projected carbon emissions by One Billion Tonnes by 2030.

The inauguration of hydropower projects will not only help in utilizing the untapped hydropower potential of the region but also provide numerous job opportunities : PM Narendra Modi
PM Narendra Modi launches various development projects in Himachal Pradesh; also inaugurates and lays the foundation stone of hydropower projects worth over Rs 11,000 crores :
Today as the country celebrates Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Himachal is celebrating its Golden Jubilee of Statehood Day.
Every country has different ideologies, but today the people of our country are clearly seeing two ideologies. One ideology is of delay and the other of development. Those with the ideology of delay never cared about the people living on the hills.
Our commitment is only for development. We got the work of the Atal Tunnel completed and also widened the road connecting Chandigarh to Manali and Shimla.
‘Beta, Beti, Ek Samaan’ Today, our government is working towards equal rights to our daughters.
India is called the pharmacy of the world today and Himachal has a huge power behind it. Himachal Pradesh has helped not only other states but also other countries during the COVID-19 global pandemic.
In Himachal, our government is focusing on food processing industry, farming & pharma. We are:
1. Developing mega food park & strengthening cold storage infra
2. Promoting Natural Farming
3. Encouraging AYUSH Industry
India had set a target in 2016 to meet 40% of its installed electricity capacity from non-fossil energy sources by 2030. Today every Indian will be proud that India has achieved this goal in November this year itself.
From solar power to hydropower, our nation is continuously working towards fulfilling the power demand while protecting nature.
The inauguration of hydropower projects will not only help in utilizing the untapped hydropower potential of the region but also provide numerous job opportunities.
We have left no stone unturned to change the life of people of Himachal Pradesh. The people of Himachal have not only religiously fought COVID19, but also successfully maintained the speed of development.

The booster dose proposal is shrouded in confusion : P Chidambaram
P Chidambaram, Former Finance Minister :
Let’s face the truth even if the Government is unwilling to do so.
Not all 94 crore adults will receive the first dose of vaccination before December 31. We will not achieve 100% coverage.
A very, very large number will not receive the second dose of vaccination.
The booster dose proposal is shrouded in confusion. Which is the booster dose vaccine for Covishield? Not another dose of Covishield, I hope.
The chicken have come home to roost. We are paying the price for delayed orders, delayed payment, non-licensing of Pfizer & Moderna, and insufficient production and supply
