Amazed to witness the goodwill Jathedar Tota Singh has earned in Dharamkot: Sukhbir Singh Badal

Sukhbir Singh Badal – President, Akali Dal:

I’m humbled by the massive response to the Akali Dal’s ‘Gall Punjab Di’ campaign at Moga Dana Mandi rally.

Pleased to announce the candidature of former Punjab Health System Corporation Chairman Barjinder Singh Makhan Brar from this seat amidst thousands of Akali workers & supporters.

Akali Dal received another boost in Moga with former BJP Kisan Morcha head – Tarlochan S Gill joining the party.

Mr Gill joined SAD along with his entire team including ex BJP district head Mohan Lal & ex Circle head Iqbal Singh. Pro-farmer forces are assembling under the banner of SAD.

Sea of kesari flags at the ‘Gall Punjab Di’ road show in Dharamkot constituency. Humbled by the enthusiastic response of Akali Dal cadre as well as people at large who have now decided to throw out the corrupt, anti-farmer & anti-poor Congress govt in Punjab.

Amazed to witness goodwill Jathedar Tota Singh has earned in Dharamkot. It was a humbling experience to witness a massive road show in favour of Jathedar Ji & Akali Dal.

Was honoured to announce his candidature from Dharamkot. Jathedar ji will also be minister in SAD-BSP govt.

It is unfortunate that 500+ Indian fishermen are still in Pakistan jails: Parimal Nathwani

It is unfortunate that 500+ Indian fishermen are still in Pakistan jails. Most often, fishermen from both countries accidentally cross the water borders in search of fish & then get caught by maritime guards. Not only fishermen but families too suffer hardships for years.

In past too I have requested GoI to set up a tribunal in association with Pakistan, with a retired HC/SC judge from each country to take up fishermen cases from both sides & clear them fast so that innocent fishermen of both nations do not have to languish in jails for yrs.

UPA Govt saddled future govts with Oil Bonds: Hardeep Puri

Hardeep Singh Puri – Union Minister:

In ‘India’s Lost Decade’ known for rampant impunity & policy paralysis, UPA Govt saddled future govts with Oil Bonds.

More than ₹1.5 lakh cr of these remain to be repaid, thus tying up crucial resources, limiting fiscal space & restricting financial freedom of OMCs.

The important E&P sector was fund-starved. As a result, our import bill continues to be high.

Nearly ₹3.6 lakh cr profits of oil companies was instead used for price stabilisation by a remote controlled govt of ‘economic experts’ to hide behind a ‘All is Well’ smokescreen.
