Why repeat the same mistake? : Subramanian Swamy

Dr Subramanian Swamy – MP, Former Union Minister:

  • It was Yediyurappa who first brought BJP to power in Karnataka.

  • Some conspired to remove him since he would not be a chamcha.

  • Without Him BJP could not return power in the State.

  • Only upon his return to BJP could the party win again.

  • Why repeat the same mistake?

Felicitated Lovlina’s father Tiken Borgohain on the occasion & urged people to come together & cheer for Lovlina.

We are so proud of Lovlina who is the first female athlete from Assam to represent India at the Olympics & the second boxer after Shiva Thapa to participate in the same from the state. May you continue to bring glories to the nation.

4th round of national sero-survey for COVID19: Two third of the general population had SARS-CoV-2 antibodies

DG ICMR Delhi via PIB India:

4th round of national sero-survey for COVID19 –

Overall sero-prevalence is 67.6% in the entire population

Amongst the adults in the survey, 62.2% people were not vaccinated, while 24.8% had taken single dose of vaccine and 13% were fully vaccinated

Two third of the general population had SARS-CoV-2 antibodies.

A third of population did not have antibodies (Still ~ 40 crores vulnerable) States/districts/areas without antibodies run the risk of infection waves

Implications of 4th Round of National Sero-Survey show that there is a ray of hope but there is no room for complacency.

Non-essential travel must be discouraged and travel only if fully vaccinated

The sero-survey was conducted over 28,975 individuals (adults and children), apart from 7,252 healthcare workers in 70 districts where earlier three rounds were also conducted

Children can handle viral infection much better than adults. It has been established that children have lower number of receptors than adults where the virus attaches

Once India starts considering opening of schools, it will be wise to open primary schools first

The latest revelation substantiates that the snooping has been used to topple the Karnataka govt. : KC Venugopal

Special Congress Party Briefing by Shri Kharge, Shri Adhir Chowdhury, Shri KC Venugopal, Shri RS Surjewala, Shri Siddaramaiah & Shri DK Shivakumar at AICC HQ. Excerpts:

KC Venugopal – Gen Sec. :

The latest revelation substantiates that the snooping has been used to topple the Karnataka govt. The timing of the snooping indicates that the intention was to topple the govt

It is very clear that the central leadership of the BJP has planned to topple the govt by horse-trading, by hook or crook. They used the pegasus software to topple the govt.

Former PM, Mr. Gowda’s phone has also been tapped. There is a simple question before the country, who is safe anymore? Everyone has to be careful in the country nowadays, there’s no privacy, our Union Govt can enter into anyone’s kitchen, bedroom, bathroom now

The govt has to come forward for an open discussion. If they are completely innocent, why don’t they order a judicial inquiry under Supreme Court monitoring.

You can see that when Karnataka incident happened, we approached SC, 17 of our MLAs had joined BJP at the time.

We approached SC for disqualification of these members. Who was Chief Justice then? He’s now a current Rajya Sabha member

That judgement was instrumental for the horse trading industry that has come in the country now

On Thursday at every state HQs we are doing a march to demand a thorough judicial inquiry under the leadership of Supreme Court

Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah:

It is Narendra Modi ji who supported Yediyurappa to topple the govt of Mr. Kumaraswamy

This is a crime committed by the GoI & it has to be raised in both the houses of Parliament. The party which was at the Centre should not play such kind of dirty games.

Special efforts have been made to sustain this speed of construction. This includes support to contractors, relaxation in contract provisions, direct payment to subcontractors and food and medical facilities to on-site workers.

Yesterday in Parliament I was astonished by the reply I got to an unstarred question: Kanimozhi

Yesterday in parliament I was astonished by the reply I got to an unstarred question by minister G Kishan Reddy.

You have mentioned about walls and toilets being built around the hertiage site, drinking water and solar powered lights being installed.

But unfortunately we are not able to see or find any of them?

And we would prefer that you build the museum first.
