I have always wanted our Railway Stations to be of top quality, where apart from travels there is a boost to commerce, hospitality and more. One such effort has been made in Gandhinagar. The upgraded station will be inaugurated tomorrow.

Other Railways related projects are:
Electrification of Surendranagar – Pipavav Section. This will ensure easy freight connectivity upto Pipavav Port.

Mehsana – Varetha Gauge conversion and electrification works. On this stretch, 4 station buildings have been newly developed.

Two new trains will be flagged off.

They are:
Gandhinagar Capital – Varanasi Superfast Express.
MEMU service trains between Gandhinagar Capital and Varetha.

Connectivity and convenience will be enhanced with these projects.

Youngsters and even adults are fascinated by robots. I am delighted to share glimpses from the Robotics Gallery which will showcase strides in robotics. This Gallery too has several salient features.

You would love visiting the Nature Park. It houses a Mist Garden, Chess Garden, Selfie Points, Sculpture Park and an outdoor maze.

Despite the pandemic, Karnataka has cleared 520 industrial projects with total investment worth Rs 77,000 crores spanning multiple sectors since March 2020.

With MoUs and investment proposals worth Rs.28,000 crores in the pipeline, Karnataka continues to be the most preferred investment destination attracting nearly Rs.1 Lakh crore worth investment in last one year.

The challenges due to pandemic have further strengthened our resolve to find innovative solutions to facilitate businesses and entrepreneurship in a post-pandemic world and enhance ease of doing business in the state.

The DG NTA has been advised to provide a gap of four weeks between session 3 and session 4 of the JEE(Main) 2021 Exam: Dharmendra Pradhan

In view of the persistent demand from the student community and to enable the candidates to maximise their performance, the DG NTA has been advised to provide a gap of four weeks between session 3 and session 4 of the JEE(Main) 2021 Exam.

Accordingly, the JEE(Main) 2021 session 4 will now be held on 26th, 27th & 31st August, and on 1st and 2nd September, 2021.

A total of 7.32 lakh candidates have already registered for JEE(Main) 2021 session 4.

Registrations for the JEE(Main) session 4 is still in progress and dates for registration will be further extended upto 20th July, 2021.

Had a warm and friendly discussion with His Royal Highness, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia on strengthening bilateral energy partnership and developments in the global energy markets.

Saudi Arabia is a central player in international energy market. I conveyed my desire to work with His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz to bring greater predictability and calm in the global oil markets, and also to see hydrocarbons become more affordable.

Highlighted the crucial role of Saudi Arabia in rapidly growing energy needs of India in the coming years, and my strong desire to work with His Royal Highness to further diversify our bilateral strategic energy partnership beyond buyer-seller to see greater two-way investments.

Health Minister, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, Shri Ma Subramanian met me to discuss various issues of Tamil Nadu, including NEET(UG) 2021. Explained to him about the background of the Supreme Court’s directions in this regard.

Also, shared with him that to cater to regional aspirations, number of languages being offered this year have been increased to 11 from 13 with the addition of Malayalam and Punjabi. The exam is already being conducted in the Tamil language.

The Minister was also informed that for the convenience of the students of Tamil Nadu, 4 new locations Chengalpet, Virudhunagar, Dindigul and Tiruppur have been added for conducting NEET(UG).

The number of cities have increased to 18 from last year’s 14. The number of examination centres will also be increased.
