Press Conference by Shri Prakash Javdekar at BJP HQ, New Delhi. Excerpts Via BJP India:
The Delhi riots that unfolded yesterday cannot be condemned enough. Everyone who prompted it should be punished. India will not forget the insult of the tricolor. Congress has continuously fuelled these farmers’ protests.
A Congress leader wrote in a tweet yesterday – ‘A peaceful protest is being shown as a violent one’
What happened at Nangloi and other parts of Delhi was non-violent? Over 300 police personnel were injured, several of them in ICU. Was this non-violent?
Congress wants to create a situation of unrest in the country. This is what is left of Congress’ politics. They are worried as to what will happen to the family-based politics? Thus, Congress is trying to fire up every situation of violence.
Delhi Police displayed remarkable restraint yesterday. They were attacked by swords and even stones were thrown, but they did not retaliate. They brought the situation under control with patience.
The Congress is frustrated and disappointed, losing elections, communists are in the same condition. That is why we are looking for a new relationship in West Bengal. The Congress somehow wants to spread unrest in the country.
The popularity and success of BJP and especially Modi ji is continuously increasing. Congress and communists are losing out. The Congress is concerned about the family rule, which people have rejected.
The government has held 10 rounds of discussion, has expressed willingness to shown preparations to defer implementation of the Farm laws for a year and a half.
Called for a point by point discussion to know about the points the farmers are opposed to in the Farm Laws
MSP, Mandi system will continue.
These laws are an attempt to give the farmer a choice. The Congress too understands it, but it does not want to let the compromise happen.
In a way, sometimes it appears that those who have been defeated in the elections, have all come together and trying to spoil the atmosphere in the country.

BJP national President JP Nadda addresses Manipur BJP State Executive Meeting via video conferencing. via BJP India:
In 1944, the brave people of Manipur along with the INA, formed by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, had hosted the Indian flag in the state
I’m appreciative of the fact that the party workers have done a lot of good work in Manipur, adding nearly 54,000 members to the party in the state.
Today, under the leadership of Shri N Biren Singh, we’re witnessing a sea change in Manipur. The culture of blockade is gone and development is coming to the state.
From time-to-time, we must look into how much effective contribution we’ve been able to give to the party. We must assign special responsibilities to our workers so they can directly contribute to the growth of the party in Manipur.
We must ensure that 300 members are enrolled in each booth. The party workers must ensure that every class of citizen from the state should join the party and special emphasis must be given to the tribals in the state.
Manipur has seen 10 lakh new bank accounts under Jan Dhan Yojana. 1.56 lakh gas connections had been provided to Manipur under Ujjwala Yojana.
Manipur stands 3rd in beneficiaries’ list in Matru Vandana Yojana. 48,000 beneficiaries have been registered, with 20,000 already receiving benefits.
An exhaustive war on drugs has been undertaken in the state and we must ensure that it continues relentlessly.
The best police station in India is from Manipur and it has earned that badge because of the effective leadership in the state.
There’s immense opportunity in Manipur related to Aatmanirbhar Bharat. I’d request the state government to try and implement how local products can become a country-wide brand, supporting the idea of vocal for local.
We’ve to ensure that people at the local level understand how the country is moving forward in the dynamic leadership of PM Modi.
Since PM Modi assumed office, Northeast India has been in mainstream, as far as development, connectivity, education & tourism is concerned.
Rahul Gandhi – Former Congress President:
Shri Rahul Gandhi at Wandoor UDF convention at Thana, Mampad
I recently met senior Kerala leaders in Delhi and I told them that in the coming assembly elections there are a few things that we have to achieve.
I said that the UDF must view this as a special election, one that will give Kerala a vision forward
I recommend that when we build our manifesto, it should be an exercise that includes and involves all the people of Kerala.
It should be a mass manifesto not one built in closed doors. One that captures the imagination of the people of Kerala
We should go to polls saying this is UDF’s commitment to people of Kerala. If we are asking people for their support then we have to show them what we are going to give them.
I also told them that we have to create a balance between experienced and young people
Experienced people represent the present and wisdom and young people represent the future. I said, our candidates must reflect this and these candidates should inspire the people of Kerala
The process of choosing these people should be more transparent and should take into account the hard work done at the Panchayat level and it should reward people from the grassroots
The final thing I said to them is that we are involved in an ideological battle. We have an ideological fight with the Govt in Delhi and an ideological fight with the Govt in Kerala
You know the damage the PM is doing to the fabric of the nation. For the first time, Chinese troops are sitting inside Indian territory.
Our economy, one the best performing in the world, has collapsed. Our youngsters simply cannot get jobs
This is the result of the ideology of the RSS. Of course the PM is incompetent but the real cause of this failure is the hatred that the RSS is spreading throughout the country
You know left front better than me, you face/fight them everyday. You know the damage their policies have done to Kerala.
This election is important as it is an ideological election, one that shows the vision going forward for Kerala, one that transforms Kerala
I am ready to help in whatever way I can. We are a family. I believe in the Congress worker, the Congress grassroot soldiers and the Congress leadership.
I am confident the UDF will sweep the coming election
