Capt Amarinder Singh – Chief Minister, Punjab:
Mobile towers can be repaired but farmers dying at Delhi borders can’t be brought back.
BJP’s false propaganda on law & order in Punjab is a diversionary tactic.
Unfortunate that V P Singh Badnore ji fell for it & summoned my officers rather than seeking a direct report from me.
The Mumbai Police now has self balancing vehicles of Freego to patrol our promenade at Worli like earlier launched at Marine drive.
Home Minsiter Anil Deshmukh ji, MP Arvind Sawant ji Akshay Kumar ji, Hemangi Worlikar ji, Sachin Ahir ji & Sunil Shinde ji were present in Worli
As guardian minister, I am also grateful to Home Minister Anil Deshmukh ji and CP Parambir Singh ji for allotting self balancing vehicles to Carter Road.
Apart from the earlier dignitaries, MLA Ashish ji and Corporator Mhatre ji joined us at the launch in Bandra
I have also requested CP Mumbai Police Parambir Singh ji to explore the possibility of having All Terrain Vehicles for our beaches.
We are thankful to Parth Jindal for his support from The JSW Group for these self balancing vehicles
Harsimrat Kaur Badal – Former Union Minister :
PM’s image has taken a beating in India & across the world.
I request him to go & listen to agitating farmers as his ministers don’t have guts to tell him the truth.
Urge farmer orgs to not listen to BJP propoganda that 2/4 demands had been met, as MSP issue is unresolved.
I challenge those spreading lies that I have signed papers related to these Agri Acts, to prove their accusations.
I protested when Bills were put up before Parliament, left my parents in ICU & rushed to Delhi to plead farmers’ case & warned the PM of repercussions of passing the Bills.
Omar Abdullah – Former CM, Jammu and Kashmir:
I don’t know about anyone else but when my turn comes I’ll happily roll up my sleeve & get a COVID vaccine.
This damn virus has been far too disruptive & if a vaccine helps bring about a semblance of normalcy after all the chaos then sign me up.
The more people that get vaccinated the better it will be for the country & the economy.
No vaccine belongs to any political party, they belong to humanity & the sooner we get vulnerable people vaccinated the better.
Dr Harsh Vardhan – Union Health Minister:
In 1st phase of COVID19 Vaccination free vaccine shall be provided across the nation to most prioritised beneficiaries that include 1 crore healthcare & 2 crore frontline workers
Details of how further 27 cr priority beneficiaries are to be vaccinated until July are being finalised
Hardeep Singh Puri – Union Minister:
While standing in solidarity with both the govt & farmers, & saluting their intense efforts, 866 academicians from various educational institutions of the country have strongly put across their informed views about farm laws in an open letter to our farmer sisters & brothers.
The intellectuals have clearly stated, “The Union govt has repeatedly assured the farmers that these three bills on farm trade wouldn’t do away with MSP & will free the farm trade from all illicit market restrictions.”
Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Health Minister :
The preparations for the launch of COVID Vaccine is now complete. Before the announcements of the dates of the vaccination it is important to inspect and review the Dry run.
Starting today, the Dry run for the vaccine begins in 259 centres in 116 districts of the Country.
Reviewed the dry run of administering the COVID19vaccine at GTB hospital, Delhi today.
Guidelines for this nationwide dry run have been updated based on the feedback from the insightful pilot dry run held in 4 states.
Vaccine hesitancy was an issue even when we started polio immunisation drive but we must remember its success.
I appeal to the people not to be misguided by rumours regarding safety & efficacy of COVID19 vaccine. We will not compromise on any protocol before approving a vaccine.
We have trained about two thousand Master Trainers for the Vaccination. Health workers have also been trained in all States and Union Territories.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi lays foundation stone of the permanent campus of IIM Sambalpur in Odisha :
Today’s startups can become tomorrow’s multi-nationals. These start-ups are mostly starting in Tier-II and Tier-III cities in the country.
The permanent campus of IIM Sambalpur will represent the great heritage of Orissa.
The youth of India needs to be prepared for the massive opportunities that lie ahead in India. In this new decade, we’re responsible to give a new image to brand India globally.
To turn local into global, IIM students need to find new and innovative solutions. I’m certain that our IIMs can act as a bridge between local products and global collaborations.
The work pattern and demand for management skills is changing rapidly. Today, top-down and top-heavy management isn’t the need. It has changed to collaborative, innovative and transformative management.
During COVID, India found permanent solutions for PPE kits, masks and ventilators. India had perpetually adopted short-term measures for problem-solving. Today, India has changed its approach to long-term solutions.
N Biren Singh, CM, Manipur :
The NDRF has now deployed 60 personnel at the wildfire site at Dzuko valley.
Also 2 helicopters equipped with Bambi bucket have been deployed to fight the wildfire.
Thanks to the men of action Amit Shah Ji and Dr Jitendra Singh ji for their prompt intervention.
Dr Pramod Sawant, CM, Goa :
Glad to announce that our Government under the Goa Telecom Infrastructure Policy 2020 in the 1st phase has proposed erection of mobile towers at 62 locations and in the 2nd phase another 138 mobile towers will be proposed soon across Goa.
This will greatly improve the connectivity and benefit all sections of the society including students, IT professionals, tech startups etc.
P Chidambaram, Former Finance Minister :
As the farmers’ protest enters the 38th day (and one more farmer sadly lost his life), I salute the resoluteness of the farmers.
The government must relent and agree to keep the farm laws in abeyance pending its repeal.
Any new law must take into account the needs and desires of the farming community
