Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Economic Package implementation – update on progress: Finance Ministry

Ministry of Finance:

Immediately after announcement of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Package by FM Smt. N Sitharaman, Ministries of Finance & Corporate Affairs started implementing the Economic package. As per the latest review, following progress has been reported.

Progress so far:

Rs 30,000 cr Additional Emergency Working Capital Funding for farmers through NABARD – Rs. 25,000 cr disbursed

Rs 45,000 cr PCGS 2.0 – Banks have approved purchase of portfolio of Rs. 25,055.5 cr (As on 28.08.2020)

Progress as on 11.09.2020

Rs 30,000 crore Special Liquidity Scheme for NBFCs/HFCs/MFIs:

37 proposals involving an amount of Rs. 10590 cr have been approved

6 applications seeking financing of Rs. 783.5 cr are under process

Progress as on 10.09.2020

Rs 3 lakh cr Collateral-Free Automatic Loans for Businesses, including MSMEs –

Additional credit of Rs. 1,63,226.49 cr sanctioned to 42,01,576 borrowers

Rs. 1,18,138.64 cr disbursed to 25,01,999 borrowers

Progress so far:

Refunds of over Rs. 1,01,308 cr issued to more than 27.55 lakh taxpayers between 1.04.2020 to 8.09.2020

I-T refunds of Rs. 30,768 cr issued in 25,83,507 cases

Corporate tax refunds of Rs.70,540 cr issued in 1,71,155 cases
